The Operational Manual Of Pelican Attorneys

Principal Partner: The principal Partner is in charge of the firm. He formulates policies in conjunction with other partners of the firm.
Head of Chambers: He is in charge of the day to day activities of the firm and reports to the Principal Partner.
Head of Litigation: He is in charge of all litigations and ensures that court processes are filed.
Head of Corporate: He is in charge of all corporate jobs including CAC jobs, Trade Marks jobs and SEC jobs.
Administrative Manager: He is in charge of all administrative jobs in the firm such as gathers, adapt, store and distribute information within the company using the information systems. He provides specialised support to other departments and managers. Planning, organising, providing leadership and controlling all administrative functions ensuring that human and material resources are correctly utilised.
Associates:  They work hand in hand with the Head of Litigation in carrying out all legal and corporate works.
Administrative Assistant: She is to assist the Admin Manager in Performing administrative and office support activities for multiple supervisors which Duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, filing, and faxing. Take initiative in manager's absence as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication skills.
Accountant: She is in charge of all the finances that comes and goes out of the firm, also the payment of staff salary, payment by clients or any voucher that will be raised.
Secretary: She is a pivotal person in an office. It is the secretary who keeps the office organized, makes sure the various appointments and meetings on the schedule are kept straight and manages the flow of visitors or employees who need to see the management staff. Prepare meeting agendas, attend meetings, and record and transcribe minutes.
 In addition to basic secretarial tasks, she performs more advanced executive functions.
Office Clerk: She is in charge of operating the office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers. Maintain and update filing, inventory and order materials, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer. Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests. She communicates with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders, and address complaints.
Cleaner: She is in charge of keeping the offices and the environment clean.
Security: He is to secure and guard the office and its environs.
